This year the group visited the east coast...of Iowa, staying in Dubuque with excursions planned from their including Field of Dreams, Heartland Acres Museum, and the Great Galena Balloon Race.

16 member cars showed plus 7 other hot rods, there were carnival games, cake walk, food, super heroes, Star Wars characters, and Licoln Fire Department. It was a fun event, the organizers took real good care of us offering free water and many thanks for coming.
National Corvette Museum Trip 5/16-5/19/16
About 30 cars and 60 people made the trip to Bowling Green Kentucky with a stop in Hannibal Missouri on the way down. Dave L organized a great trip with guided museum tour, guided factory tour, and time for 6 cars to take touring laps around Motorsports Park where we all made it 100mph in a legal way. There were some sidetracks along the way for various groups who visited Jefferson City, Nashville, Evansville and Louisville.
1st Annual Sowers Club Car Show 5/15/16
13 members showed in a field of 85 cars at the Gateway Mall. There was music, raffles, 50/50 drawing, and 6 members brought home hardware.
Berean Car Show 5/14/16
Lincoln VA Show and Shine 5/10/16
218 cars, trucks, and motorcycles showed up to support veterans and encourage them to use the services the VA provides. This is always a fun, low key show with no judging and a great variety of vehicles.
Norris High School SkillsUSA Car Show 5/7/16
63 cars and 2 motorcycles showed on a really nice Saturday. The show is organized by the students and raises money to support educational trips and conventions.
Southeast Community College Car Truck and Semi Show 5/7/16
This years show included 200 cars, 50 tractors, and 20 semis.
April Social 4/27/16
4 Corvettes left U-Stop at about 6pm in the mist with a couple of jammer cars for good measure, we arrived safe and sound to Round The Bend Steakhouse where many of our friends were waiting for us. The food was great and the service is some of the best our large group gets

World of Wheels 3/18-3/20/16
225 cars of all shapes and sizes filled the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE. Ron B.'s 1966 427/425 Red Coupe won 1st in the Domestic Sports Car Class and also took home a Judge's Achievment Award as one of the 10 best cars at the show.
